A dipmeter based on a ECL80 tube
Functional description:
Dip meter uses pentode part of ECL80 as a Colpitts oscillator. Tank circuit consists of a dual ganged adjustable capacitor and a plug-in type coil to select and adust the frequency. Mains transformer has been rewound to provide 230/100V/6.3 V. Frequency ranges are from 0.44-126 MHz.
The triode part of the tube is used as an amplifier to AM- modulate the signal by audio.
